Drawing eyes emotions
The eyes are one of the most important parts in a draw. If you are drawing a person, the eyes and the eyewbrows will make all the difference at the person's character. Below we have some examples. I made the shape of all the eyes based in the first one.
This is a normal eye expression. I used it as a base for all the others eyes.
Here, the difference between the normal eyes is that the bottom line of the eyes is a little bit higher than the bottom line of the first expression.
Remember you have to change the shape of the eyebrows, drawing them just a little closer. The start of the eyebrows are slightly lower but the end of them are aligned.
I drew the eyelashes pointing to the sides for the eyes look thinner and in that way angrier.
As you can see, these eyes show a surprise expression. For this, you have to draw the top line of the eyes higher. The eyebrows must have an arcuate shape and the eyelashes were drawn nearly vertically.
To make this expression, I drew the outside corner of eye a little bit down, and I drew the eyelid in a triangular shape.
The eyelashes are pointing to the sides to make eye look thin and smaller.
To draw this expression, I made 2 different eyes, one more open, and other more closed.
The eyebrows position is also important to contrast the expression.
